IA = Impervious Area. Impervious areas are hard surfaced and do not allow water to percolate into the soil. Examples include rooftops and asphalt and concrete surfaces such as driveways, walkways, patios and parking lots. Streets, gutters, and associated sidewalks act as part of the stormwater conveyance system in the same manner as storm sewers and streams; therefore, these stormwater conveyance areas will not have a fee assessed against them.
(b)
Charges by the city for a stormwater management utility shall be rendered and collected monthly. The collection agent or department for such monthly charges shall be designed by the manager. These charges may be billed on a common statement and collected along with other city utility services.
